Welcome to my Recycle Right website!

 

I live in San Jose, California and am a sophomore at Santa Clara University. I was an officer of my high school's Environmental Action club and also an Ambassador Girl Scout passionate about reducing our environmental footprint. I was inspired to create this website after visiting GreenWaste, San Jose's main recycling provider. This website answers questions about the recyclability of some of the most commonly questioned items, and provides explanations as to why items are or are not recyclable. The information in this site follows the San Jose recycling guidelines, but can be used in general for other cities as well. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me!
